How can we apply?
Send an email to iChina at sales@ichinapl.com. We will send you the Application and have an Account Manager to serve you personally.  
What Payment Systems are available from you?
ePayLinks e-Wallet, Bank Payment, Credit Payment and Other Payment.  
Do we have to worry about the Authentication of customers who pay?
Not like other processors, ePayLinks will take care of this for you with the exception of Credit Payment.  
How long does it take to receive payment?
Different approval time frames will apply to different Payment Systems used by your customers. Normally, for the Bank Payment, it is real-time basis in crediting your Merchant Account with ePayLinks. Actual settlement of fund occurs on the next working day by 1200 hours. You can make withdrawal any time you want to remit such to the designated bank account you stated in your Application. Remittance time frames will be stipulated in the Schedule A, upon the approval of your application, that required your signed acknowledgement.  
How long does it take to set up the API?
If you have the technical guys, typically one day, time difference not included.  
Why isn’t this kind of payment services available in China?
RMB is not an international freely exchangeable currency.  
Are there any monthly charges?
Yes, according to Schedule A, but they are minimal. Discuss with our Payment Consultants and let us design your plan.  
Do we need to batch out for payment?
No. Your transactions will be shown in your Merchant Account immediately after they are made.  
How to process a "refund" transaction?
Go to your Merchant Account Management and click the “Refund” button. Remember to keep all the related documents in case of Retrieval Request. In general, you will have to follow the Operating Guide.  
Do we need a Refund Policy?
Yes, you should display it prominently on your website(s).  
How do we get Authorization for our transactions?
Don't worry, our Payment Systems would take care of this for you.  
Is it illegal to get full payment before delivery?
No, if the customer agrees in black & white. Note that Code 10 only works for VISA and MasterCard. In normal circumstances, it is a better practice to deliver first before collecting payments.  
How long do we need to keep the records of Sales and other Transactions?
At least 5 years.  
Is it illegal to bill more and let a customer to draw cash?
Yes, and this is a serious offence.  
How can do we proceed with representment?
Provide the supporting documents and ePayLinks will do it for you. However, this has to be done within 5 days when you are charged back.  
What category will our Internet business be in?
Usually treated as MCC5967 by VISA or MasterCard. ePayLinks, however, shall always get you the best merchant discount rate.  
Do we need to sign a Merchant Agreement?
It’s deemed to be agreed on when you fill up the Application. So, it is advisable to read the terms and conditions at the back of the Application thoroughly.  
Does the Merchant Agreement automatically roll over?
Yes, the Agreement continues unless being terminated.  
Can we terminate the Merchant Agreement any time we want?
Yes, by Thirty (30) days written prior notice to ePayLinks.  
What are the general rules for an Internet Merchant to keep?
You would have to comply with the rules and regulations of Banks and Associations of Cards. For general practice, follow the Operating Guide.  
What APIs do you provide?
Java, PHP and ASP.NET.  
What currency will you process for our transactions?
RMB or CNY, the official currency of China. You shall display clearly the equivalent RMB values of your goods or services provided, including other applicable charges to your customers.  
If we apply for a Merchant Account with you, will it be a direct Internet Merchant Account (IMA)?
Certainly, you will be assigned with a unique Merchant No. upon approval. Access to your Merchant Account will be over the Internet, showing your transaction history and account status.  
Can we have more than one website under one Merchant Account or do I need to open separate account for each website?
You don’t have to apply separately. Just fill the websites in the Application. However, opening a separate account would provide you a better management on different websites  
Is our data safe with you?
All transaction information is always safe with our platform. Our payment systems are absolutely in compliance with rules and regulations of Banks and Associations of related financial institutes. You can be rest assured that all our services provided are secure and legitimate.  
Do you provide customer support?
Yes. we offer true non-outsourced dedicated 24/7/365 telephone and e-mail support for you and your customers.  
Are there any restrictions on the amount we can charge with your systems?
Basically no. There are no minimums or maximums. However, you should observe the laws, rules and regulations that may be applicable to the goods or services you sell.  
Does ePayLinks hold reserve or deposit for opening a Merchant Account?
In general, there is none. However, ePayLinks does have a right to require a deposit, typically between 5% to 10% of your monthly total transaction amount.  
Does ePayLinks include fraud screening technology?
Yes, it does. Very advanced. We run transactions through several negative databases. From our e-commerce and online processing experience, we have developed a really top-notch anti-fraud system, which pertains different filters and allows us to prevent fraudulent transactions and to reduce sales loss.  
Will there be Retrieval Request?
Yes, and the Request may ask for both Delivery Proof and Transaction Receipts amongst other information.
